I’m there kid!!!
I’m going today to see John Fogerty :)
My friend got tickets on line through ticketek as could not progress our order through the Blues and Roots site. When we arrived at the venue on Saturday (with receipt) we were left in line for an hour while it was sorted out.
We missed Keb Mo, our main reason for attending, and were forced to write a letter saying basically that were were not fraudsters.
When we got in the sound mix for many of the acts was atrocious. Sinead OConnor and Don maclean for example.
For the money we expected better service. There was some great muisc but the admin and mixing really let you down and many of the people we met there said the same thing.
Hi Gary,
Am sorry to hear you had a dissapointing day :(
Mmm, I wonder if I was behind you in that line… took me half an hour which was annoying enough, as it wasn’t a long line in front of me, just very slow moving!
I don’t know about the sound on the main stage, but unfortunately they did have issues with the sound in the Big Top again (like at Southbound, though I think not quite as bad).
If you want to let sunset events know about this, best to contact them direct, don’t think anyone will read this.
:)
